1. Product Overview
This product is a special whitener/brightener designed for magnetic polishing machines, which is a key accessory to enhance the polishing effect of workpieces. It is a water-soluble, environmentally friendly formula, mainly composed of alkyl sulfonic acid, organic amine, rare earth, surfactants and additives, without sulfur, chlorine, phosphorus and other harmful substances. It integrates cleaning, grinding and brightening functions, and is specially used to improve the surface finish of metal workpieces after magnetic polishing, remove oxidation, burrs, machine tool scratches and oil stains on the surface, and make the workpiece surface achieve a bright, smooth and delicate effect.
It is widely applicable to magnetic polishing of various metal workpieces, including stainless steel, copper, aluminum, gold and silver jewelry, hardware parts, kitchenware, medical devices and other products, and is perfectly compatible with all types of magnetic polishing machines (magnetic tumblers).
2. Product Features
- Multifunctional Integration: It combines cleaning, degreasing, rust removal, grinding and brightening in one, which can effectively remove oxidation film, burrs, machine scratches and oil stains on the surface of workpieces, and significantly improve the surface glossiness.
- Environmentally Friendly & Mild: The formula is green and environmentally friendly, non-toxic, non-flammable, and has mild chemical properties. It will not corrode or damage the base material of the workpiece, and will not cause damage to the precision of the workpiece.
- Excellent Performance: Added with special rare earth abrasives, it integrates the advantages of needle contact and rare earth flow contact dual-phase polishing, making the polishing effect more outstanding. The polished surface is brighter, smoother and more lubricated, and the tiny holes, gaps and dead corners of the workpiece can be effectively repaired.

4. Usage Instructions
4.1 Preparation
- Check whether the magnetic polishing machine is in normal operation, and ensure that the polishing bucket is clean and free of impurities, oil stains and other residues.
- Put the magnetic steel needles and the workpieces to be polished into the polishing bucket. The number of workpieces should be appropriate to avoid overcrowding, which will affect the polishing effect.
- Add an appropriate amount of clean water to the polishing bucket, and the water level should be higher than the workpieces and the magnetic steel needles.
4.2 Dilution and Addition
The product needs to be diluted with clean water before use, and the dilution ratio and addition amount can be adjusted flexibly according to the material of the workpiece, the degree of contamination and the brightness requirement. The recommended usage is as follows:
- General metal workpieces (stainless steel, copper, aluminum): Dilute with water at a ratio of 1:50-1:100, and add according to about 1% of the workpiece quality.
- Workpieces with severe oil stains or oxidation: Appropriately increase the dosage, or pre-degrease the workpieces before polishing, and the dilution ratio can be adjusted to 1:30-1:50.
- For workpieces requiring high brightness (such as jewelry, precision hardware): The dilution ratio can be adjusted to 1:20-1:30, and the addition amount can be increased to 1.5%-2% of the workpiece quality.
After dilution, pour the whitener/brightener into the polishing bucket, and stir gently to mix it evenly with water, magnetic steel needles and workpieces.
4.3 Polishing Operation
- Turn on the magnetic polishing machine, set the appropriate polishing time according to the material and surface condition of the workpiece. The recommended polishing time is 20-60 minutes, and for irregular workpieces with dead corners, the time can be appropriately extended to 50-90 minutes.
- During the polishing process, pay attention to observing the state of the workpiece. If the surface brightness meets the requirements in advance, the machine can be turned off to stop polishing to avoid excessive polishing.
- After polishing, turn off the machine, take out the workpieces, rinse them thoroughly with clean water to remove the residual whitener/brightener on the surface, and then dry them (air-dry or wipe dry with a clean cloth) to obtain the bright and smooth finished product.
4.4 Notes on Usage
- Different types of metal workpieces (such as stainless steel and non-ferrous metals) should be polished separately to avoid mutual contamination and affect the polishing effect.
- The diluted solution should be used up within 24 hours. If it is not used up, it should be sealed and stored, and it is not recommended to use it again after 48 hours.
- Do not mix this product with strong alkali, strong oxidant or other chemical agents, so as to avoid chemical reaction and failure of the product, and even damage the workpiece and the machine.
- When polishing small and precision workpieces, pay attention to controlling the polishing time and dosage to avoid damage to the workpiece precision.
