What materials can this magnetic polishing machine process?
The magnetic polishing machine can process a wide range of materials. It is versatile. Can work with soft and hard materials, mostly metals but it also works with plastics. This machine can process alloys and soft precious metals and it does a great job of keeping the workpiece precise.
To make it clearer I have divided the materials into three groups:
- Common metals: this is where the magnetic polishing machine is used the most. It is used a lot and can be used in different ways.
Stainless steel, iron, copper, aluminum, zinc, magnesium and so on.
These are the materials that are used every day. The machine does a job of deburring and polishing them.
- Precious metals and specialty alloys: these materials need to be processed with high precision and surface quality. The magnetic polisher is very good at this because it does not damage the materials.
Gold, silver and other materials used to make jewelry
Titanium alloys, which are used in aerospace and medical fields
Carbides and hard alloys
These materials are very valuable. The magnetic polishing machine makes sure that their dimensions and shapes are not changed during the polishing process.
- Non-metals: this is something that many people do not know about.
Hard plastics
For example magnetic polishing can be used to remove burrs and smooth the surfaces of precision plastic parts or housings.
🛠️ Specific application scenarios
You are probably wondering what types of workpieces the magnetic polishing machine can handle. The machine is very good at reaching every part of a workpiece with precision. It is especially good at handling parts that are hard to process with traditional methods:
- Complex structural parts: such as gears, screws, springs and precision stamped parts. The machine can handle parts with holes, gaps, threads or blind corners.
- Parts from manufacturing processes: the machine can remove machining burrs or oxide layers from parts made with CNC machining, die-casting or powder metallurgy.
So long as your workpiece is not made of soft materials like wood or paper and it is not too big to fit in the grinding barrel the magnetic polishing machine can find a way to process it.
If you have a material or part in mind and you want to know if it can be processed just let me know. I will help you figure it out. The magnetic polishing machine can process different materials, including the ones I mentioned earlier such, as stainless steel, iron, copper, aluminum, zinc, magnesium, gold, silver, titanium alloys, cemented carbides and hard plastics.
